Praying to

God

When we pray, we start by asking God to align our hearts with His Word. This month, we're praying Acts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Praying for Your

Family

Pray for your family members who are far from God. Pray for them to experience the fullness of God’s grace in Christ Jesus. Pray for our church family to be bold with the Gospel.

Praying for Your

Neighborhood

Pray for sister churches in our city. Part of the beauty of the body of Christ is that we are united with believers on the other side of the world and across the street. Pray for Immanuel Community Church. Immanuel recently opened their new church building on Elysian Fields and has intentionally sought to reach the Gentilly neighborhood for the gospel. Pray for their Pastor, Matthew Delaugher, and other elders as they serve our city!

Praying for

New Orleans

Pray for Baptist Community Health Services. BCHS was started in 2014 as a cooperative effort of the New Orleans Baptist Association. Beginning in the Lower Ninth Ward, BCHS has provided exceptional healthcare for many neighborhoods in our city. Pray that the Lord would continue to bless this ministry as New Orleans Baptists serve our city.

Praying for All

Nations

Pray for the Reclaimed Project. Reclaimed is located in Marks, MS, and reaches children and families by providing after-school care, tutoring, summer programs, and many other valuable resources. In addition, Reclaimed is reaching the nations in Lesotho! Later this month, a team of families from FBNO will serve alongside this ministry to reach children and families with the love of Christ and the message of the Gospel. Pray that God would bless this ministry and that our church would serve as a faithful partner in the gospel.
